BAIYEI TOFU SALAT
百叶豆腐沙拉
With Tofu salad, healthy weight loss! Baiye tofu low carb (1.5-2g carbs per serving).
INGREDIENTS
1 packet (approx. 250g) Baiye Tofu
1 spring onion, finely chopped
6 tbsp oil (refined oil)
2 tsp Szechuan peppercorns (in the Asia Shop)
5 g chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons white or black sesame seeds
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
DIRECTIONS
1 Separate each layer of Baiye Tofu, align again and cut finely into long pasta-like strands.
2 In boiling water, add 1 teaspoon salt and blanch the Baisse Tofu for about 2 minutes. Pour into a salad bowl.
3 Pour the spring onion, chilli powder and sesame seeds over the tofu.
4 6 tablespoons of oil in a small pot, fry the Szechuan pepper in it for 1 minute, remove and dispose of (only used to flavour the oil). Heat the oil until just before the smoke point and then carefully pour over the spring onion and chilli powder.
5 Baiye Tofu Salad with soy sauce, vinegar and sugar mix well, season to taste and serve chilled or at room temperature.
